Meet The Real Life SafetyKay!
Meet the real life SafetyKay – Krystle is an experienced safety professional who has worked in both public and private industry. She has a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas School of Public Health where she focused her studies in Environmental Health and Occupational Sciences.
Krystle also holds Certified Safety Professional designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and was named “BISE Safety Professional of the Year” in May of 2018 by The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP). Recently, Krystle was named the 2022 “Safety Professional of the Year” for both the ASSP Gulf Coast Chapter and ASSP Region III.
Having worked with both adults and in children, Krystle recognizes how important setting the foundation of safety at an early age influences mindset around safety behaviors – preventing and reducing incidents, avoiding hazards, and improving performance. For this reason, SafetyKay LLC, was developed to provide resources and safety products to improve critical safety skills for children. Krystle believes when safety is a priority, children can feel secure, healthy and more confident.
